Join or renew

Membership year 2026/27. One form, one payment, done in five minutes. Renewing members keep the same details — you only change what has changed.

What £40 gets you

  • Two coached sessions every week
  • England Athletics affiliation
  • £2 off every affiliated race entry
  • Club championship and Frostbite League
  • Members area, newsletters and socials

Before you start

Have your England Athletics number to hand if you already have one, and the name and number of someone we can call in an emergency.

Everything marked required is needed either for England Athletics affiliation or for keeping you safe on club runs. Nothing else is asked for.

Your details

All your given names, as England Athletics needs them.

Why we ask
England Athletics record sex observed at birth for registered athletes, and it sets which category you may enter in affiliated competition. We pass it to them with your registration and keep no copy of it on this website.

This is not a question about gender identity, and it changes nothing at the club — training, membership, club events and the members area are the same for everyone. England Athletics set out their position on their own website.

England Athletics require a valid address so they can confirm your data is correct.

Membership through this form is for runners aged 18 and over. Junior membership is arranged separately — please contact membership@marchac.co.uk and we’ll send you the right form.

Membership

There is no half-yearly membership. Membership runs from 1 April to 31 March. The fee is the same whenever in the year you join, so joining now costs the same as joining in April.

Required if you are joining as a second claim member.

Declarations

In order for March AC to comply with the General Data Protection Regulations, every member needs to read and agree to the declaration below.

When you become a member of, or renew your membership with, March Athletic Club you will automatically be registered as a member of England Athletics. We will provide England Athletics with your personal data which they will use to enable access to an online portal for you (called MyAthletics). England Athletics will contact you to invite you to sign into and update your MyAthletics portal (which, amongst other things, allows you to set and amend your privacy settings). If you have any questions about the continuing privacy of your personal data when it is shared with England Athletics, please contact dataprotection@englandathletics.org.

Your data (e.g. your email address) will also be shared with the Club Chairman/Secretary to enable the newsletter and other information to be sent to you to keep you informed of club activities. Your data will not be shared with any other person without your express permission.

About photographs
This one is entirely up to you and you can change your mind at any time — email membership@marchac.co.uk and we will stop using them and take down any we can. Saying no has no effect on your membership, your training, or anything else.

We cannot promise to find every photograph ever published, and we have no control over images taken by race organisers, official race photographers or other clubs.

Typing your full name here has the same effect as signing the form.

You’ll be taken to our payment provider, Stripe, to pay by card. Your card details are never seen by this website.

Juniors

Junior membership is handled separately and not through this form. Juniors train with their own coaches — email membership@marchac.co.uk and we will put you in touch.

Questions

Not sure whether to join yet? Come and try a session first — the first one is free and nobody will chase you afterwards.
