One team. Seventeen stages. 198 miles around the edge of Norfolk, running through the night.
The Round Norfolk Relay is the biggest thing March AC does all year. A team sets off on Saturday morning and runs continuously — road, coast path, fen lanes, darkness — handing over stage by stage until the last runner comes home on Sunday. Every runner needs a cyclist or a car behind them on the night stages, so it takes far more people than it takes runners.
It is not a race you enter on your own. The club enters one team, the stages are allocated between members, and everyone else drives, marshals, navigates, hands out flapjack at 3am and gets the next runner to the right lay-by on time.

Stages vary a lot. Some are short and fast, some are long and exposed, and the ones in the small hours are their own kind of event. You do not need to be quick to be useful — you need to be able to run your stage at roughly the pace you said you would, so the handovers work.
Club records
The fastest March AC runner ever to cover each of the seventeen legs, going back to 1997 — plus age-graded records, top-30 finishes and most appearances.

Members — getting involved
Both of these live in the members area and need the club password.
Put your name down for a stage
Pick the stages you could run and give the pace you would actually hold on each. Where a stage is oversubscribed the place goes to a random draw; where one person puts their name down, it is theirs.
Race-day board
Every stage on one page: runner, cyclist, car moves, lead driver, handover times and rolling projected times that update as legs finish. This is the page to have open on the day.
