Hereward is four legs, run by a team of three or four, or by a pair taking two legs each. You don’t need a team to take part — tell us what you could run and we’ll get you into one.
Names close Saturday 7 November. Anyone still without a team at that point is put into one automatically, using what everybody said they could run.
I haven’t got a team
Tick the legs you could run and how many you’ll do. Your name goes on the board in the members area, where captains looking for runners can find you.
I’ve got a team but I’m short
Put a name against the legs you’ve covered and leave the rest blank. The blank legs go on the board for anyone to claim, and we’ll email you the moment somebody takes one.
A few things worth knowing
- This isn’t a race entry. Nothing to pay here. Once teams are settled the club enters them with the timing partner.
- You can change your mind. We email you a private link — use it to edit or withdraw your entry at any time before names close.
- Who sees what. Your name, the legs you ticked and anything you write in the notes show on the board, which is behind the members password. Your email address isn’t shown — it’s used for your private link, and given to a captain only if you join their team.
- Minimum age 17 on race day, or 18 if you’re in a pair.
- Everything on the board is deleted a fortnight after the race.
Already have a full team? You don’t need any of this — enter directly with our timing partner. Full details, times and rules are on the Hereward Relay page.
See who’s looking → (members area) — that is also where you claim a leg in a team that is short.
Lost your link? Need to take your name off?
We emailed you a private link when your name went on the board. That link is how you change your entry or take your name off — including if you’ve found a team another way.
Put your email address in below and we’ll send it again. It only ever goes to the address already on the entry, so you can’t use this to see anybody else’s.
