Club diary

What the club is entered for, and who else is going.

Put your name against anything you are doing. It is not an entry and it commits you to nothing — it is so the rest of us can see who to look out for, share a lift, or line up a team.

Changed your mind? Press remove next to your name. No need to ask anybody.

Add a race to the diary

Anything you’re entered for and happy to say so. It goes on this page straight away. The public diary is a separate list a committee member ticks things onto, so nothing appears on the open web until then.

Only so the committee can ask you about it.

A few things worth knowing

  • Who sees this. Names show on this page only, behind the club password. The public diary lists the races and says nothing about who is running them.
  • Adding a race. Anything you are entered for and happy to say so. It appears here straight away. It goes on the public diary only once a committee member ticks it, so there is no harm in adding something niche.
  • It is not a race entry. You still have to enter the race itself with whoever is organising it. The Hereward and the Frostbite are the exceptions — the club enters those, so putting your name down here is how the club knows to.
  • Old races. A race stays up for a fortnight after it has been run, so you can see who else was there and compare times.
  • Anything wrong, or a race you cannot add, tell races@marchac.co.uk.

One shared password, circulated by newsletter. Treat this as “not public” rather than private, and do not put anything here you would mind a member passing on.
